TPTIM listed as signatory to UK Stewardship Code for first time
TPT's fiduciary manager, TPT Investment Management (TPTIM), has been confirmed as a signatory to the Financial Reporting Council’s 2020 UK Stewardship Code for the first time.

TPT Retirement Solutions, one of the UK’s leading providers of workplace pensions with more than 470,000 members, today announces that its fiduciary manager, TPT Investment Management (TPTIM), has been confirmed as a signatory to the Financial Reporting Council’s 2020 UK Stewardship Code for the first time.
The UK Stewardship Code sets a benchmark for excellence in the responsible allocation, management and oversight of capital – driving long-term value for clients and beneficiaries while delivering sustainable benefits for the economy, the environment and society.
Being a signatory demonstrates to clients, members, and stakeholders TPT’s commitment to creating long-term value, managing risks effectively, and delivering positive real-world outcomes through active ownership.
This is TPTIM’s first submission to the UK Stewardship Code, making the achievement of signatory status a significant milestone in its responsible investment journey.
Since its launch, TPTIM has integrated stewardship activities into its core governance framework and required investment managers to demonstrate ESG integration and engagement effectiveness.
To guide its approach, TPTIM has also established a Responsible Investment Framework. TPTIM’s 2024 Stewardship Report focuses on how its stewardship policies and processes have been applied throughout the reporting period to achieve the desired outcomes and meet the Code’s high standards for responsible investing.
By aligning TPTIM under the Code, TPT is reinforcing its position as a trusted steward of pension assets, committed to influencing corporate behaviour, improving standards, and promoting sustainability.
Commenting on the signing, Inês Cunha Pereira, Responsible Investment Manager at TPT Investment Management, said:
“We are thrilled that TPTIM has been accepted as a signatory of the FRC’s Stewardship Code for the first time. This achievement recognises our efforts to be truly responsible investors. We actively engage with investment managers and investee companies to influence behaviours, improve standards and promote sustainability – and see it as our duty to collaborate with other investors, industry groups and policymakers to influence positive change.”
