TPT Conference 2026 – Demystifying the latest pension pathways
Our second annual conference, at London’s Tate Modern, brought together pension schemes, advisers and trustees to explore our industry’s new and emerging solutions.
Transcript
This is our second annual pensions conference, and we've been covering new innovation in the industry. So CDC schemes, Superfund schemes and looking ahead to what DC retirement might look like for younger generation of savers. It's been a really good day. I think it's been for a lot of people just understanding a little bit of what changes are happening in the marketplace.
Really good collaboration. The panels are superb. We had a great panel with a really good balance of different perspectives. So we had a perspective from kind of what it's like for consultants working with employers to see how the regulator is approaching this and how as an industry, you've got to come together to drive much better member outcomes. We talk about Superfund, DC, CDC, we have conversations about member engagement, really good engagement from the audience with the questions.
The only way we actually improve and create change is by embracing innovation. And so events like this are great and important for us. Great to see so many people from the industry, providers, employers, trustees, lots of really good chatter about the end and lots of lively debate in some of the discussions. We've had a really great day, lots of enthusiasm.
So I'm really pleased with how it's gone and the fact that people feel that I can ask questions. I get the sense of positive momentum for doing things better and differently.
With panels on DC member outcomes, CDC and Superfund, there was plenty to talk about, and our audience asked thoughtful questions on barriers, decision-making and member communication.
We also heard valuable insight from Gaucho Rasmussen on TPR’s evolving approach, before entrepreneur, performer and best-selling author Cally Beaton closed with a light-hearted and engaging take on change.
Thank you to our panellists, speakers and guests for some great conversations.
